Naturally sweet wine from sun-dried grapes
Sourced from our 10-15 year old vines planted in sandy/loam soil. Grapes are left on the vine until very ripe and then harvested and laid out on mats to sun-dry for 4-5 days before pressing. Approximately 4 kilos of grapes are needed to produce 1 litre of wine. Clarification and fermentation in steel tanks, maturation for two years in French Oak barrels.
Deep amber colour with an expressive and complex bouquet of honey, sweet grapes, bitter orange and dried apricots. Full-bodied with a velvety texture, balanced acidity and a long finish. Potential ageing in the bottle for 15 years.
The perfect partner to mature cheeses, fruit and desserts. Serve at 12-16°C, or chilled as an excellent aperitif.
